Artwork Statement:
I took consideration of creating this doll as my realistic artwork specifically because it was one of the first gift I got from my aunt back in Wisconsin. It's a special gift that I've gotten from her. This doll shows a personal side of me that tells others how calm, independent, mature, and bright I can be. Using a pencil as my material, I drew my artwork out of an 8.5" x 11" white piece of paper. As I am drawing, I'm looking at my object to figure out the basic posture of the body and work my way there with the details, especially with the shadings.
